Making Cookies

Goal:make cookies 

Ingredients:150g of brown sugar,1 egg,40ml oil,pinch of salt,½ teaspoon of baking Soda,20g flower,120g chocolate chips.Get a bowl,a cup and a spoon.

1. Add 150g of brown sugar and 1 egg into the bowl and mix.
2. Next put 40ml oil in the bowl and mix.
3. Then a pinch of salt goes into the bowl.
4. And is followed by ½ a teaspoon of baking soda.
5. Finally 20g flower has gone in the bowl.
6. Last but not least add chocolate chips or anything of your choice and mix (this step is 
   optional) 
7. Roll the dough into balls and place on a tray covered with baking paper and put in the oven for 15 mins at 150 degrees Celsius.

I disagree because i feel everyone should have the
same amount of money given to them without
judgement of gender. The salary or wages given
should reflect the amount of work/time worked and
the level you are working at rather than the ideas
surrounding the differences between girls and boys.
I as a girl feel that there is nothing holding me back

Fairy Bread

Room 10 and room 1 our buddy class I had  Amera we made fairy bread we used tons of sprinkles there were hart shaped  sprinkles that were pink white and red, there were also gold, silver and white sprinkles they weren’t harts though.
There was also two different coloured icing that we made with icing sugar and water we used food dye to colour the icing green and yellow, we used pink and white marshmallows. We had to put our creations on paper towels so miss Chand could take photos.

How To Make A Christmas Ornament

Goal:make a Christmas ornament.

What we need:paint,1 cup of salt,2 cups of flour,1 cup water,glitter,oven trays,bowl and a spoon.

1. Pour 1 cup salt,2 cups flour into a bowl and mix with a spoon.
2. Next grab the 1 cup of water and gradually add to the mix for a soft dough,mix with spoon.
3. Mix with spoon until the mixture gets clumpy then knead with hands.
4. Take some of the dough and start to shape.
5. After you have the shape you desire add some details (optional if you want to add something to hang the piece with add a hole where you think would work).
6. Then put them on an oven tray and into the oven at 90 degrees C for three hours or leave them out in the air for a while so they can air dry.
7. Now we can decorate with some vivid and vibrant paint.
8. Once you are done painting add some glitter while the paint is wet if it is dry simply get some liquid glue and spread with a brush and add the shiny shimmering glitter.

Term 4 assembly

when it was assembly time I felt a bit upset because I was originally the host.

Instead I just sheared a very interesting piece of  writing that I made out of a boring day.

The best things were Diwali and Buddhism art.

My writing could be better.

(I kinda wanted to win a PB4L prize because there was a a glitza like thing I wanted)

Kiwi can jam.

We started getting ready for kiwi can jam in the afternoon I had brought deodorant hairteys dry shampoo and a brush. We got ribbons in our hair and then just played around a bit,Finally the bell rang,Ring ring. I went to say goodbye to miss Chand. We all gathered in room 11 before heading to the bus,On the way to vodafone conversation centre I sat at the back of the bus near the window as the bus was starting to move I heard a pfsh. We got there and went inside there were sets specifically for everyone after we put our bags on our sets we went outside and got drinks and pizza, We went back inside and it started someone said hello in almost or maybe every language. Once I got off my chair when I went to sit down I hit the ground the ground bang! After 13 schools it was our turn, Personally I think we were amazing shh. We got back to school, the time was 9:00pm it was freezing and I couldn’t see my mum in her small silver car...although she was down the school drive.

Museum

Museum 

I  went on a school trip with my dad and a group,

One of my best friends was in my group it was the first school trip my dad had been on.

On the bus ride to the museum we sat at the back, I was in the middle of my friend and dad  it took a wiles but we finally were at the museum.all we saw was an enormous gigantic white building right in front of us.Once we arrived we hopped off the bus and sprinted over to this small room near the museum.While we got seated a man named Ma’ara was welcoming us to the museum in the reo Maori but then he translated it back to English so we all could understand. He told us some rules that we should do and should not do while we were waiting on the others to arrive on the other bus. Once they arrived ,Ma’ara repeated what he said to us before to the other groups and teachers. We had a quick feed and locked our bags away because it was not allowed in the museum.

The first thing the hole group wanted to do was go to the volcano area,

In sept my friend she was afraid of the house in the volcano area so she stayed outside of the house and my dad stayed outside with her (not because he’s afraid,He’s not).

After the volcano we went and saw a real life mummy and cool artefacts most of the group didn’t believe the mummy was real but me and my dad knew the mummy was real.

My friend that was scared of the volcano house finally said she wanted to try it,My dad said “ok soon” she made a promise to me that she wouldn’t chicken out.

She tried it...and loved it, I told her, “you don’t know if something is scary unless you try it,

She wanted to go again.

But we had a few people in the group that ruined all the fun :(

And they said to my friend “then you shouldn’t have been a scardy cat and gone in the first time”…that’s mean.

I would love to go back again.

Holiday

Tuesday 15th October.

“Yay schools over”!

I was walking home,it was a long walk from school to home,

Finally got home,after approximately three minutes.

Thud!

Went my bag onto the messy bed covered in stuff.

plonk!

and my bag fell off my messy bed and onto my messy floor,that I could not see.

I picked up my iPad and started playing games,a few shards of glass came off the destroyed iPad screen,onto my fingers “OUCH”!

soon I got frustrated,and fell back onto my noisy beanbag.

I got bored very quickly so I went onto the lounge,I flung myself onto the cold leather couch, that had been ruined by Luna my dog.

“I’m soooooooooo bored” 

I moaned in an annoying voice.

I was thinking “grrr I hate being bored”

And then I said “Oh common man” When I noticed that the remote for the tv was lost!

Dinner time came,my mum and brother came from the other room we got ready and went to visit my dad in Auckland city hospital,he was in because he had an infected leg.

On the way through the hospital we got coffee,hot chocolate and subway mine had white bread,toasted with salami,bacon and mayo.

We followed the blue wall to four elevators we went to ward 75 room 6 we ate and then we had to go so we said bye to dad and left,back to mums grey car.

“Go to bed now” My mum said in a polite and positive way to me and my brother he slept with her,I slept in my very thin bed.

I lay there awake for a while,waiting to be tiered and then...I’m asleep

Hormones (signals) get sent through your body and pituitary gland (brain stem) starts functioning and tells your body it’s time to change be ready.

Girl changes:

Menstruation,private parts,bo (body Odor),pubic hair,eggs (biggest human cell),ovary,fallopian tube,28 day cycle (for period),8-16 start of puberty,eggs are released and grows, if it meets a sperm it joins and forms a baby in the uterus,growth spurt,pimples,45-55 you go through menopause.

Boys changes:

Testicles start the production of sperm,voice box grows and voice gets deeper,penis and testicles grow,growth spurts,pubic hair, chest and face hair,bo (body Odor),9-16 age range,pimples can get reactions,produce sperm for their entire life.

How to look after your self:

Brush teeth 2 times a day,8-16 hours of sleep,deodorant,eat healthy,8 glasses of water a day,exercise for an hour,shower every day,shave (if girls shave the hair comes back thicker and darker.

Girls especially need to use to look after themselves:

Use tampons,pads,reusable underwear,t cup, reusable pad and bra.

The Boring Classroom

The Boring Classroom 

There was once a classroom, a boring classroom, a very boring classroom.

So boring that no one wanted to go, not even the teacher, but she would always go just for the money and one student in her class.The teacher got $153 a month. The teacher would often give the good girl $3 every month because the teacher loved her positive behaviour.

The kids would often pretend they are sick, beg their parents to stay home and just run away from school, but one girl was good and she liked the school.

However, her brother was very naughty and even though he would always attend school and go to class, he would try as hard as he could to make that specific room more fun and interesting, but… his sister would always stop him.   

He would often pull pranks on the teacher but the girl would warn the teacher and  the teacher would make the boy fall for his own pranks and would make the teacher and girl laugh.

The pranks never stopped . One after the other and the pranks just continue.

Endless pranks, never a break.

“When will he stop?” the teacher asked the girl, “I don’t think he will to be honest” replies the girl “Oh no, here he comes” the teacher said “Hi guys I got suspended” he said “What?” the girl and the teacher said at the same time. “Also, the principal told me to tell you you’re fired” the boy said sadly. Everyone left. The next day, they all came to school “What are you doing here? weren’t you suspended?” The teacher and girl said “What? No, I can’t believe you guys fell for my prank” the boy said “Grrrrr we are so angry at you, you actually are going to be suspended!”
